Meedah Group to Sponsor "Zumba Party in Pink" Charity Event in Muscat on Behalf of The Oman Cancer Association (OCA)

Meedah Group will be a sponsor for a Cancer Awareness Charity Event being organised here in Muscat, Oman. The event is scheduled for 15th October 2016 from 10am to 1pm and the organisers are anticipating around 200 people to attend.

Worldwide, October is generally considered to be an awareness month for Cancer and this event called "Party in Pink Zumbathon" is being brought to Oman for the first time to coincide with this global phenomenon. The organisers have partnered with the Oman Cancer Association (OCA) to highlight the cause in Oman to all communities. All proceeds raised from this event will be donated to OCA to help families and communities, as well as bringing Cancer to the forefront of the nation.

What is Zumba?
Zumba is a dance fitness program created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto "Beto" Perez during the 1990s. Zumba is a trademark owned by Zumba Fitness, LLC. Zumba involves dance and aerobic movements performed to energetic music. The choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo. Approximately 15 million people take weekly Zumba classes in over 200,000 locations across 180 countries. Zumba is a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class. Organisers
A group of Zumba Instructors (from Oman) are organising this event, "Party in Pink Zumbathon". The instructors come from many nations and all walks of life. They are extremely passionate about Zumba and being able to help and promote Cancer awareness in Oman in conjunction with OCA.
